In Windows XP and Windows 7 it is easy to create desktop shortcut for your regular use programs and apps.  But in windows 8 it is title tricky, there are lot of changes in windows 8 need to spend some time for learning.  So today’s topic is how to create Desktop Shortcut for your regular use Programs & Apps in windows 8.   Follow these steps.


1.      In Windows 8 home search your program or app and right lick on that come to bottom and click on “Open File Location” it will take containing folder.

2.     Just right click on selected program or app and click on “send to”“Desktop (Crate Shortcut”, now your program icon will appear in desktop.
