How to Find & Remove Duplicate Entries and Values in MS Excel

Hi guys welcome back again, today we will learn how to find and remove duplicate text, entries, values & numbers in Microsoft Excel.  There are many methods to do this by using typical formulas.  But I will show you very easy way to Find & Remove Duplicate Entries and Values in MS Excel and this method will work MS Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013.


1.     Select your data and click on “Home” - “Conditional Formatting” -  “Highlight Cells Rules” and click on “Duplicate Values”

2.   After you click “Ok” it will shows duplicate or retyped entries with colour highlighted indication.

3.    So now, if you want to delete the duplicate entries or values, select your data or column and click on “Data” “Remove Duplicates” and click “Ok”.

4.    If you want delete a particular column entries, select  the particular column and do the same, data-remove duplicates and “Ok”.  Be sure about your data before you are gong to delete.
