May be many people knew keyboard shortcut key to insert current date and time in Microsoft Word, but in MS Excel the key is little different, the advantage to use these key is you don’t need to see the calendar or clock, just use these simple keyboard shortcut key to insert current date and time in MS Word and Excel, these key will work all the version of MS Word Excel like 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and even 2016.
1. To insert current date in MS Word press “Alt+Shift+D” for current time press “Alt+Shift+T”
2. In Excel the key is different for insert current date press “Ctrl+;” and for time press “Ctrl+Shift+;”
