By default facebook send lot of notifications about birthdays, on this day, friends activity, tags, live videos etc. sometime we get disturb because of all this unwanted notification from the facebook, but you can easily turn off this notifications in your pc and phone, let see how to do this.
1. Open and sign-in facebook in your pc, go to “Setting”
2. Click on “Notification” than click on “edit” on facebook
3. Now choose the which notification you want to turn off
4. Do the same in phone open facebook go to setting-account setting-notification and than turn off the notifications
