Network discovery is a network sharing setting in windows pc, using network you can set computers into a network to find and connect other computers, by using network discovery enabled; sharing files, editing and printers can be done easily from one computer to other computer. But in some cases we don’t want to share our computer for limited period or lifetime, so here I will shows how to enable and disable network discovery in windows pc, this will work for windows 10, 8.1 and windows 7.
1. Right click on “network icon” from the system tray and select “Open Network and Sharing Center”
2. Click on “Change advanced sharing settings” in Private (current profile) check on “Turn off network discovery”
3. Do the same in Guest or public check on “Turn off network discovery”
