How to Fix exe. Setup Files Not Opening in Windows 10 (These files can’t be opened)

Hi, today we will learn how to fix software setup .exe file not opening or not going to install in windows 10/8/7, there are many reason behind this issue, it might be happen because of pc security, corrupted register or no installed of winrar or 7zip, so lets see how to fix .exe setup file can’t be run issue in windows pc.

1.       First method: Turn Off your antivirus and internet and try to run setup, if not work follow the second method

2.       Second method: Turn off windows defender firewall, go to start type and open windows defender firewall, than click on “turn windows defender firewall on or off”. And now turn of these option and click on “Ok”

3.       Third method: Go to registry edit, extend the “HKEY_Classes _Root” find “.exe” right click on “Default”-“Modify”, value data must be “exefile”

         Find “exefile” folder right click on “Default”-“Modify” change the value data ("%1"%*) 

          Restart the pc and try to run setup, if still not work follow the fourth method

4.      Fourth Method: open cmd type this command “assoc .exe=exefile” and hit enter
