How to Fix WiFi Keeps Disconnecting Frequently in Windows (Internet Works only after Restart)

Experiencing frequent WiFi disconnections on your Windows PC can be incredibly frustrating, especially when the internet only works after a restart. This issue can stem from various causes, ranging from software glitches to hardware problems. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve this issue. 3.  Restart WLAN AutoConfig Service: Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Find WLAN AutoConfig in the list. Right-click and select Restart.

4.  Change DNS Settings: Open Control Panel and go to Network and Sharing Center. Click on Change adapter settings. Right-click your WiFi connection and select Properties. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter a preferred DNS server, such as Google’s (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
