1. Restart Your MacBook

2. Use Activity Monitor to Find Memory Hogs
Open Activity Monitor (Press Command + Space, type Activity Monitor, and hit Enter). Click the Memory tab to see active processes. Find apps using excessive memory. Click the X button to quit them.
3. Free Up RAM Using Terminal
Open Terminal (Press Command + Space, type Terminal, and hit Enter). Type this command and press Enter:
